Antigen Rapid Test Kit (Beier)

COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit (Beier)

The Beier COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit is an immunochromatographic kit intended for the direct and qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigens in nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs from people who have been treated by their healthcare provider under COVID-19- Are suspected. The test is intended to be used as an aid in diagnosing the coronavirus infectious disease (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2. The COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit does not differentiate between SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2. The results are for the identification of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen. Antigen is usually detectable in the upper respiratory level during the acute phase of the infection. Positive results suggest the presence of viral antigens, but clinical correlation with patient history and other diagnostic information is necessary to determine infection status. Negative results do not rule out COVID-19 and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or patient management decisions, including infection control decisions. For in-vitro diagnostics only. For professional use only.

1. Sensitivity 96,5%
2. Specificity 99,7%

Result Interpretation

A pink colored band appears only at the control region (C), indicating a negative result for COVID-19 Infections.

A clear pink control band (C) and a detectable test band (T) appears, indicating a positive result for COVID-19 infections.

No visible band appears at the control region. Repeat with a new test kit. If the test still fails, please contact the distributor with the lot number.
